Professional Experience

Creative Director    2004 - Present
Destination Marketing    Mountlake Terrace, WA

Oversee audio and video production projects as well as copywriting team. Basically a "jack of all trades" position, helping out where ever assistance is needed from the creative team.  Direct shoots on our green screen studio, while pushing new ideas and concepts to promote further growth of company. Initially hired as Copywriter that evolved to Lead Copywriter, then Associate Creative Director.

"Morning Show Prep" writer      2004-Present
Radio-Online         Lubbuck, Texas

Every morning, I get up at 4am and write enough show prep to fill a morning show, as part of "Morning Show Prep"--jokes, quizzes, the latest pop news headlines, etc.

"Tonight Show" Monologue Contributor             2002-Present
White Collar Comedy                                                                           Olympia, WA'

Each weekday morning, I take the topical jokes I write for Radio-Online and submit them with material from the rest of the White Collar Comedy Team for consideration by Jay Leno and the Tonight Show. Each week's collection is posted on my website, www.wackyweek.com, with the jokes that sold in green.

Weekend/Fill-in Disc Jockey                2005-2006
100.7-The Wolf           Seattle, WA

Hosted Sunday morning show and fill-in duties as part of the new "Wolf".  My first taste of country music and I had a blast, but limited time resources forced me to give it up.

Morning Show Co-Host, "Murdock, Hunter & Alice"          1988 - 2003
92.5-KLSY Radio      Seattle, WA

Got up at 2am and woke up Seattle every morning as part of the show.  I was the show's main writer, producer, wrote scripts and material, produced parody songs and commercials, did remote broadcasts, the complete package. Consistently scored high with the target, Women, 25-54.

Copywriter, Production, Disc Jockey    1984 - 1988
92.5-KLSY Radio    Seattle, WA

Hired to help write commercials and assist in the radio production, I would make client calls, talk to each client about their needs for a commercial and then go back to the station and create it. Soon a weekend airshift was included, and shortly after that, I was moved to afternoons.

Producer, Larry Nelson Morning Show    1980 - 1984
KOMO, AM-1000    Seattle, WA

While cutting my radio teeth in Yakima, I got a call from this incredibly low voice asking me to come over and interview for the position of Larry's producer.  It was Larry himself and we hit off a fantastic friendship and partnership that lasted 4-1/2 years.  In that time, we took KOMO from a "Middle of the Road" station to a full service jewel of Seattle radio.
